SHOULD we protest WALMART-- employees are part of WORKING poor-- your thoughts? @MHarryPerry

On the way home today...my mama calls me--she was watching Melissa Harris Perry on msnbc-- she loves her-- anyway.  The topic today was the BILLIONS that WALMART makes and how the employees reap NONE of the benefits.  In other words a large percentage of employees at WALMART are considered a part of the WORKING poor-- in other words they still have to receive government subsidies to survive while working everyday.

Everyday low prices fuel everyday low wagesSome people have decided to PROTEST and STOP shopping in the stores-- what do you think?  They said sure-- Wally World brings in jobs, but are they paying the employees what they are worth?  do the employees reap the benefits from the top?  One employee said they have worked there for over 9 years and still make less than $10hr.  Is that Walmarts fault? Or should the employee move on in life and work elsewhere?

Do, us as shoppers have any SAY SO in it all? Target pays employees a little more (they say)-- I don't know-- I have never worked at either of these places-- Anyone work there want to chime in.

I see the new commercials that WALMART has started running-- showing people move up in the stores, showing higher income shoppers--

What do you think? Do we support USA when we shop WALMART?
